Alo is designed for data minimisation. In most cases we only require anonymised preference and rotation history. If your process requires identifiers (e.g., for report delivery), we’ll agree the minimum needed and document it.

No third-party data sharing. We don’t train any generative models on your data. We use your inputs only to generate your allocation and report.

We configure a firm-specific constraint model (your rules) and optimisation objective (what ‘best’ means for you). That’s what makes Alo’s AI outputs both tailored and explainable.

Implementation is a one-time modelling session to capture your constraints and priorities. Each rotation, you send anonymised inputs and we return: (1) recommended allocation, (2) explainability + outcomes report, (3) an iteration loop if you want to rebalance priorities.

We score satisfaction primarily from preference rank outcomes, and can incorporate context such as repeated preferences, development progression, and rotation balance - always within the limits of your firm’s policy constraints.

You will have one point of contact from the Alo team, from start to finish, who will ensure the success of your rotation. No support team necessary.

Yes - Alo is decision-support. You can accept the recommendation, adjust it, and (if needed) rerun with updated priorities.

Alo isn’t a black-box app you’re left to figure out. We typically configure it for your firm, you send anonymised inputs, and Alo generates an allocation plus a rationale report. We iterate with you until it fits.

The initial (one-time) discussion that we would need to understand your firm’s rotation mechanics can take up to an hour (although it is usually much quicker). After that, as soon as we have the trainee data for the relevant rotation, we can generate your allocation and analytics in a few days, or quicker if required (e.g. send us your rotation data on a Friday afternoon, and have an optimal allocation in your inbox by Monday morning).
